Current Mood: tense  Tense

...So just finished my last final for my summer classes and for the love of all that is good and-- ...That was torturous. Not horribly difficult, but trying to remember how to set up a problem that you haven't done since the beginning of the term is not particularly fun for me or my brain. The final took about two hours to do and I honestly thought I was going to be done sooner than I was. I finished with about ten/fifteen minutes left, but then realized I forgot my final step in five problems and had to go back and add it in at the end. **  ...I feel okay about how I did...I only needed a 81.3% to keep my A, so I had some wiggle room, but... It's weird, b/c as I was studying/reviewing again right before class I kept alternating between freaking out because I felt like I didn't know/remember how to do anything & then feeling kinda cocky because I had done well so far in the class and this wasn't any new material really. My prof. said she'd post our grades within the next week or so online and I can hardly wait for the final verdict. I have my heart set on an A in the class, and I'll be crushed if I get anything else at this point.

...What else...? Things aren't looking good for me being able to do the tutoring gig. I just don't see how I could fit that into my schedule. It'd be tough even if it was at my own school, but having to drive to another campus in another city...AND take a class there AND have three 50 min study sessions a week? I'm horribly disappointed, but I think I'll have to pass on this one...

...And... I actually haven't touched the seventh Harry Potter book I got almost a week ago...I used to be slightly addicted to the Harry Potter universe, but not as much anymore...Plus, I knew that I didn't have time to sit down for a few hours with it and read it all in one go like I had with the previous books, and I KNEW that if I didn't get it read first thing that I was going to hear people talk about it and spoil major parts for me...which totally happened. And if had just been my friends doing the spoiling, I would have just told them to zip it, but when it's random strangers sitting next to you in public, it's not as easy to get them to keep quiet. Oh well, c'est la vie. ...Maybe I'll just wait for the seventh movie to find out what happens... *snort*...

... But at least I finally get some vacation time...I have a little over 3 weeks (*I think*) before the fall semester starts...Lord knows I need a little R&R...

~Luv~
